La Beidana - Italian peasant weapon, blunt replica

The Beidana was the chosen weapon of the Waldensians, a religious sect from Piedmont, and were poor by chioce. These people were persecuted for centuries, so had to defend themselves, with the common peasant arms, hence the Beidana have became a symbol. Appeared as early as 1300, and was in use as late as 1700's.
